Bruxelles-Propreté’s objectives are also to assist the citizens in the daily management of their waste and favour environmentally friendly tools.
To respect both objectives, Bruxelles-Propreté uses digital solutions to inform in real time about the times to put out your bags and to ensure Bruxelles becomes cleaner and more serene.

BRUXELLES-PROPRETÉ SUPPORTS OPEN DATA

To promote innovation and creativity in the Brussels region and to offer a quality service to Brussels’ citizens, Bruxelles-Propreté has given free access to some of its data (Open Data).

You will find the concerned data sets below, as well as on our partner’s portal : https://datastore.brussels/web/

 

ARP – Calendar indicating when to put out your bags for the households house-to-house collections.

This web service in JSON sends back for each UrbIS validated address the days to put out the bags between 2 dates for the different products. 
It also sends back the information related to glass banks and container parks for any UrbIS validated address.

It also allows for the extraction of a list containing the possible addresses.

This web service requires the signature of a convention between Bruxelles-Propreté and the legal entity wishing to exploit the data.  This convention is derived from CIRB’s open License (This license is based upon the Etalab open licence, mission under the authority of France’s Prime Minister in charge of opening the public data and developing the French Open Data open platform – with the authorization of Etalab)

This web service in JSON allows for the introduction of a request related to a household house-to-house collection issue or cleanliness in the region.  All municipalities of the region excepted Auderghem and Woluwé-Saint-Pierre are connected to the AlloWeb application (https://www.arp-gan.be/en/reclamation).

THE RECYCLE! APP

The Recycle! app combines all the information about waste collection in your municipality.

  • All waste collection dates on your smartphone or tablet. This handy calendar provides a weekly or monthly overview of all the waste collections in your municipality or street. It also includes an overview of the sorting rules for PMD, glass and paper-cardboard.
  • Never forget to put out your trash bags and waste containers again. The app allows you to set reminders for all waste collections in your street. Your smartphone will display a reminder the evening before or on the morning itself.
  • The fastest route to your recycling centre or container park. Finally, you can also check the addresses for all the recycling centres, Bebat collection points or Kringwinkels/Ressourceries in your neighbourhood, including their opening hours and the fastest route there.
