About Your Mobile Recypark

"Your Mobile Recypark" was introduced in 2015. Fourteen municipalities in the Brussels-Capital Region have opted in to this rotating system, which is organised in the autumn and spring.

Some of the key principles of the Mobile Recypark are:

  • Collecting waste as locally as possible;
  • Taking away Brussels residents’ bulky waste items and allocating them to the most appropriate recycling channel;
  • Providing an efficient and easy-to-use local service;
  • Making fly-tipping less tempting;
  • Encouraging resource-sharing through donation points and reuse spaces.

Bruxelles-Propreté plans, implements and funds the logistics of Your Mobile Recypark and the processing of the waste collected through this system, while the municipalities ensure that their employees are on the spot to give guidance to members of the public.

Your Mobile Recypark, which remain at a location for between 3 and 10 days, are accessible to residents of the municipality where the operation is taking place, on presentation of their identity card.
In 2022 Bruxelles-Propreté collected some 1,700 tonnes of waste through its Mobile campaigns, including 1,400 tonnes of bulky items.

Any items in good condition that you no longer use?

Bruxelles-Propreté provides a covered container at the entrance to the Recypark. Our partner, a player in the social economy, will be able to prepare them before offering them a new life!

Depending on their nature, the objects will be sorted, cleaned, labelled and repaired if necessary. They will then be put back into circulation to be resold. The profits from these sales will be invested in various social projects supported by our partners.
