Strategy clean.brussels

What exactly is Clean.brussels?  

Clean.brussels is the regional strategy for urban cleanliness in the Brussels region, launched on November 29, 2022 by Bruxelles-Propreté. 

It's the culmination of two years of co-construction and the start of a regional strategic plan identifying 14 objectives divided into 65 concrete measures. This strategy aims to make the Region cleaner by establishing sustainable cooperation between the various levels of government, businesses and citizens.  

These include setting up a cooperation council between municipalities and regions, reducing the number of discarded cigarette butts, increasing educational activities in schools and associations, and encouraging businesses to reduce their waste.  

Our common goal: “to make the Region cleaner in the long term."
